Went to Augusta today. I saw Inception, which is one of the best movies I have seen in quite some time. I know Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) directed it and his work is always amazing. Inception was nothing short of that. The ending throws you, though. It leaves you wondering, “Is he still dreaming?”
After Inception, I bought some Prosecco and Riesling for the house since Lincolnton does not have that great of choices when it comes to alcohol. Then, I met up with my wonderful sister and her husband for some dinner and bonding time. Let’s just say, the evening was nothing short of dramatic. And there is one word to sum up why - “Ex”. Take from that what you will.
Sigh, I’m waiting for things to fall into place. Hopefully, this will begin soon.

After we discovered that my air conditioner isn’t working, we cut on the attic fan again. Thankfully, the temperature did drop to 82 upstairs. It made it a little more comfortable but I will be sooooooo relieved when this gets fixed. At least I’m not sweating quite as much as I was yesterday.
It’s summertime in Georgia and the air conditioning at my house has decided to not work quite so hard during this heat wave that rolled in a few days ago. Since returning home yesterday afternoon, the thermostat says it is currently 86 degrees in here. I’ve had the a/c blowing constantly on 70 and it has not changed anything. After losing 5 lbs. overnight from sweating, I came up with an alternative solution: turning on the attic fan. Here’s hoping it works…
