what a day
Went to Augusta today. I saw Inception, which is one of the best movies I have seen in quite some time. I know Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) directed it and his work is always amazing. Inception was nothing short of that. The ending throws you, though. It leaves you wondering, “Is he still dreaming?”
After Inception, I bought some Prosecco and Riesling for the house since...

I survived!
After we discovered that my air conditioner isn’t working, we cut on the attic fan again. Thankfully, the temperature did drop to 82 upstairs. It made it a little more comfortable but I will be sooooooo relieved when this gets fixed. At least I’m not sweating quite as much as I was yesterday.

Going to Tampa on the 1st to help a friend move down there. It’ll be my first time in Florida in quite some time. I’m looking forward to going, but it will be bittersweet to say the least.
I can feel a hot one
It’s summertime in Georgia and the air conditioning at my house has decided to not work quite so hard during this heat wave that rolled in a few days ago. Since returning home yesterday afternoon, the thermostat says it is currently 86 degrees in here. I’ve had the a/c blowing constantly on 70 and it has not changed anything. After losing 5 lbs. overnight from sweating, I came up with...
